BeInCareer Genie is an AI-assisted career platform for job seekers in India, reachable at https://genie.beincareer.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Basic usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and the date and time of your visit. We use cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences.
Our AI features send the relevant text — for example your resume or the question you asked — to third-party AI providers (currently OpenAI and Anthropic) so they can generate a response. Send us only what you are comfortable sharing. AI output is advisory, can be wrong, and is not professional or legal advice.
We show advertising through Google AdSense to keep the service free.
We use Google Analytics to measure traffic in aggregate. It sets cookies and records a truncated IP address. We do not use it to identify individual visitors.
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with the providers that make the product work — our hosting provider, our email provider, the AI providers named above, Google Analytics and Google AdSense — and only to the extent each of them needs, or where the law requires it. Anything you deliberately publish (your public profile, posts, comments) is visible to other users and may be indexed by search engines.
We keep your data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, accounting and support obligations. Delete your account and we remove your personal data apart from anything we are legally required to retain.
The site is served over HTTPS and passwords are stored hashed. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and tell us immediately if you suspect your account has been accessed by someone else.
You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can turn off reminder emails from your profile settings or from the unsubscribe link in any such email. To make a request, write to info@beincareer.com.
The platform is meant for people aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children below that age. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be announced on the site.
